Still smiling from Alexander and Angela’s wedding in Montpelier. 🥹 They got married in the coolest old church — creaky wooden floors, stained glass, and so much charm. Then we wandered over to the capitol building for portraits, where the green trees and golden dome made the perfect backdrop. Quite possibly the most magical thing I’ve ever done! I can’t recommend this unforgettable experience enough. If you’re looking for an addition to your bucket list, add a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia, Turkey. Trust me, it’s unreal! April is supposed to be in the low 60s… but we got snow and temps under 20°. Balloon rides were canceled the two days before, and on our last morning there (with a flight back to Istanbul that same afternoon) we somehow snagged a spot. Our balloon pilot mentioned it was his first time flying with snow in April. So yes, we were COLD—but floating over snow-dusted fairy chimneys was absolutely worth it. It’s my 41st birthday today (yes, forty-freakin’-one), and I thought: what better time to pop back onto your feed than while jet-lagged and slightly unhinged after just landing in Istanbul? I’m Savannah—photographer of all things heartfelt, chaotic, and beautiful: families, tiny humans, mamas-to-be, lovebirds, and the always iconic high school seniors.
