Sara reached out to me about scheduling a fall foliage couple’s session but what she didn’t know is Matt then reached out to confess that he was planning on popping the question at said session. Not everyone gets to be part of such a HUGE moment in life and it is always such an honor to be asked to capture these portraits!
Sara didn’t even it see it coming! I told them to stand back to back because I had a fun photo idea. When she turned around she was in complete shock to see Matt down on one knee holding a box with the most beautiful ring. Of course SHE SAID YES!
After the excitement of the proposal was over, the couple was ready for more fun portraits. Vermont definitely does not lack in the gorgeous fall colors! We made sure to get some up close photos of the ring. We then took tons of portraits with the fall foliage, down by the creek, and on a few bridges. We were able to capture so many different backgrounds without even getting into our cars.
I always think it is so romantic when men put thought into their proposals. Way to go Matt! Congrats to the newly engaged couple!
