Wondering where to take your engagement photos? Well sometimes it’s as easy as choosing the location where you got engaged! I love that Sarah and Matt wanted to come back to Edson Hill as this is the spot Matt popped the question.
While they were on an afternoon walk they reached a clearing overlooking the mountains. Here they started talking about how beautiful a wedding in New England could be. Matt reminded Sarah that for that to happen, she’d need an engagement ring first. Then he pulled out the one he had been carrying in his pocket all weekend. Of course Sarah said yes and the rest is history!
Stowe, Vermont is covered in snow most of the winter season, but that didn’t stop Matt and Sarah from taking portraits without large snow jackets on. Being cuddled up with the one you love helps with keeping each other warm too! All booted up in snow boots we adventured through the snow to Trapp Family Lodge and Spear Farm Barn to take tons of different portraits.
These two love birds have been staying at Matt’s family house in New Hampshire. This home abuts an apple orchard and overlooks the White Mountains in the distance. Sarah and Matt are planning to have their wedding at his family house and are so looking forward to seeing friends and family after being separated for covid safety.
Sarah’s advice for your photo session is to pretend the camera isn’t there, be goofy and have fun. I try my best to make all of this a thing during our sessions together. Looking for more advice on your upcoming session? Click here
