When the weather gods align and bring us a balmy 30 degree winter day with shining sun, my little photographer heart jumps for joy! Since the sun was out, it couldn’t have been a more perfect day for Veronica and Gaspar to brave the cold and traipse around after me for their winter engagement session in Stowe, Vermont.
Veronica wore a red dress from Rent the Runway (inspired by Dancing with the Stars Whitney Carson engagement session.) The pop of color was gorgeous against the white backdrop of the mountain!
Gaspar and Veronica met at the bank where Veronica worked… Gaspar with debit card problems and Veronica the faithful employee dedicated to helping him. She thought when he walked out that her professional flirting hadn’t come across, only to have Gaspar calling minutes later to ask her to dinner!
Gaspar proposed on a magical night at the Pennsylvania Lantern Festival. As the lanterns launched into the night sky Gaspar pulled Veronica into him and asked her to be his best friend forever (swoon!)
Gaspar and Veronica are getting married in Punta Cana in February 2020. Nothing like getting some 30 degree weather for your engagement session then 80 degree weather for your wedding! Their engagement session was their first trip to Stowe and they were ecstatic with the Vermont vibe.
Veronica and Gaspar have this advice for others preparing for their engagement session: “Don’t overthink it! Your photographer is the professional they will capture moments best! We loved working with Savannah!! She was down to earth, took extra time with us in several spots as it was our first trip to VT! She captured the exact vibe we were going for!”
