If you are looking for snow and winter family photography while you are in Stowe, Vermont, take a few notes from this family. Oh my gosh this family was the CUTEST! They traveled from Florida to Stowe to see snow FOR THE FIRST TIME! They, of course, had to document the experience because it truly was magical! The temperature this day was a balmy 14 degrees haha. We headed up to Trapp Family Lodge to get in some amazing views and a wide open field with plenty of snow banks to play on! We left our cars running while we played in the snow and every 15 minutes or so we jumped in for a warm up which was ESSENTIAL for my little photographer fingers. I absolutely loved getting to watch the magic of experiencing snow, sledding, and pure outdoor winter fun with these two little girls!
We did have a single tear from their littlest one after a sled ride that ended in a snow pile. But tears were quickly wiped away and the fun continued.
How they all managed to make snow gear look fashionable and cute is beyond me. That is a skill that after living here for two years I have yet to master. I’m pretty sure I just walk around looking like the abominable snowman. But hey, at least I’m warm right?! Warmth over fashion I always say (or do I really?) Anwyho… I am so happy that I was able to be a part of this special moment and document their memories so they will truly never be forgotten!
Love these! You captured the joy of seeing snow for the first time, and the fun that they all had – adults, included!
